During my visit to the University Museum of Texas Southern, I encountered on many interesting quilts containing lots of history of our culture. It surprised me that the quality of the quilts was so good, it showed how durable the quilts have been after so many years. In conclusion, I have explained a little of the history of African American quilting and how the quilts were made. African American quilting has been apart of our culture for many years, and it will continue to be apart of the African American culture.
