American Beauty

I had quite an easy time finding subjects for my viewer analysis. My friends and I are movie buffs and we watch a lot of movies together. For this particular assignment, I chose to hang out with my buddy “Jeff” (name has been changed) and watch the movie American Beauty. This movie was an interesting choice because I have seen it a few (okay, maybe 100) times and the film has a special meaning to me. …

…and all television is garbage. There are many smart and funny shows on television, but there are not enough. Does the mass media audience really need to be spoon fed Regis and “Who want’s to be a millionaire” six nights a week? Maybe I’m ranting on too much, but I think many people would agree with my belief that a broader range of programming should be available to the public from network television.
