An Amalgamation of Transformations

Metamorphoses contains such a wealth of fascinating stories, especially stories of human personalities in conflict and the way nature and the gods deal with these conflicts. The most important aspect of these stories, the phenomenon of metamorphosis, stands out as dramatic quality used by Ovid to convey his views on the nature of human life.
