Angel of Mercy

Characters: Heather Barlow (rounded) is an 18-year old who had just graduated from high school, instead of going straight to college, she sacrificed her first semester to college to help the less fortunate people of Uganda. She wanted to make a difference in the world. Ian McCollum (stereo type character), was a medical student/seminarian, on an evangelical/medical mission to Uganda. He was a good friend to Heather and eventually the man she fell …

…was packing Jodene, handed her Ian’s journal telling her to consider it as an early Christmas present. As Heather was travelling home, she started to read Ian’s journal and realized that much of what he wrote since their meeting on the Mercy Ship was about his admiration and lover for her. It made her very sad but even more determined that she would return to Uganda someday and carry on Ian’s mission.
