Anonymity in Lord of the Flies

Anonymity is used in the novel Lord of the Flies by William Golding and as well as the articles from the New York Times about the Ku Klux Klan. …Flies by William Golding Jack’s and the hunters’ use of anonymity is used negatively when they kill the “beastie” and put on the face paint to symbolize war. However in the New York Times articles the masks were used to make them unknown to the outside world but by doing that they also made others very afraid of them as well. IN both pieces of literature, anonymity is used in a very negative way.
