Antigone

A tragic hero displays three main traits, a tragic flaw, a family of high class or rank, and is neither superlatively good nor corrupt. A tragic flaw simply means a character weakness, which results in their destruction. In Sophocles play Antigone, Antigone fulfills all three traits conscientiously. …ambition and actions. She caused the deaths of the people Ceron loved. The dynasty of Ceron’s family will no longer reign over Thebes, because of Antigone’s downfall. However, Antigone was not bad nor corrupt. She did not intentionally kill these people. She just regarded her brother highly and believed he deserved a proper burial. She is very thoughtful, and compliments herself and her own opinions, by accomplishing her goal to bury her brother.
