Antigone

The main characters in the story “Antigone” are Antigone, Ismene, Creon, Haemon, and Eurydice. Antigone, daughter of Oedipus, who used to be king of Thebes, was plotting to bury her brother Polyneices. Polyneices was killed during his attack on Thebes. …died, she stabbed herself in the heart. In my opinion, this was a great tragedy. I think the theme of this story was that love is the greatest thing in the world. If Haemon took his life because the woman he loved had taken her own, it shows the power of love. People will go to great heights for the one they love. Although it was quite hard to understand, it had a great plot.
