Argument: America, a land of equal opportunity

America. . . the land of equal opportunity, freedom to vote, to speak, and worship. This idea is rather appealing to most, very ideal and extremely attractive. …country, these so called “rights” would never be jeopardized in the first place. People would be treated equal by their neighbors, teachers, government officials, their friends and by everyone in society. Individuals have their own mindset and perceptions of other groups of people. These are things that are taught, and passed down by others. It has diffused from generation to generation like a rampant disease, and seems to only evolve into different circumstances over time.
