At Risk Students

Introduction: According to Teaching Mainstreamed, Diverse and At-Risk Students, Many students suffer from failure from one time to another. …upperclassmen in high school. The program is called TRIO-Academic Support Program. In University of Illinois at Chicago, TRIO is designed for students who parents did not attend college. Students have the opportunity to attend college/university during the school year and live on campus during the summer. In this summer program, students take classes in basic skills in reading, writing, mathematics, and studying. The enrichment is the area in tutoring and counseling (Vaughn, Bos Schumm 320).
