Barbarous Mexico Barbarous Mexico is a book which fully explains the Mexican revolution of 1910. The author John Kenneth Turner travelled to Mexico during the end of Porfirio Diaz’s rule. Turner gives a shocking portrayl of the abusive planatations were mass amounts of indians lost their lves. Diaz’s flow of power was downward. Probaly the worst job in the mexican labor system. The chance of living more than ten years is near immpossible. There is no hope on the plantations.
