Being an American

Being an American To be an American means many things to me. To be an American means that you are a part of one of the greatest countries in the whole world. To be an American means that you have freedom, to do pretty much what you want, and to say what you want. It means that you have equality, because everyone is given an equal chance in America. It means that you right to …

…and their beliefs. To be an American means many things, but to me the things that stand out the most are freedom, equality, and need for respect. These things I think are not only views felt by myself, but many people around the world, and I think that is why we have such a diverse population, because everyone wants the freedom, equality, and respect. Having those things makes me glad that I’m an American.
