Beowulf: An Anglo-Saxon Hero

Beowulf exemplifies the traits of an exceptional warrior and an extraordinary hero. The poem explains the details of this incredible character’s life. …will live on forever. Beowulf has all of the traits of a perfect hero. He definitely possesses all of the heroic qualities that the Anglo-Saxon’s believed a hero must have. He is brave, strong, courageous, loyal, and boastful. He is a great leader and even sacrifices himself at the end of the poem for his people. He undeniably deserves praise and glory for his accomplishments. Beowulf is an ideal example of an Anglo-Saxon hero.
