…amendment are a protection to the people. Without this we would live in a horrible country where people were locked up for no reason. So they do protect us and do mess up once in a while but who doesn’t the people that run this government are just everyday people like you and me. This proves the statement once again the bill of rights and the fourteenth amendment is a protection of the people.
