The title of the book I chose to read was Black Like Me. The author of this book is Howard Griffin. The main character of the book is John Howard Griffin. The book takes place in 1950 and 1960. It is about a jounalist who has picked the topic of racism for his next article. He dies his skin the color black to see how life is from a negroes perspective. …that picked him up treated him as an equal. Many of the people talked trash to him and talked about how much they think the negroes should be banned, because they don't have feelings, or any moral stature. It just was sad because most of all the people that picked him up did not really even give getting to know him a chance. I would highly recommend this book to everyone from ages 13 and up.
