…seems in the end to leave much open to interpretation, and we are free to make up our own minds in many cases, but Scott has certainly succeeded in his goal: to raise important questions and to stimulate our thinking in regard to issues that are fundamental to the modern world. In conclusion, it is wise and in fact essential to keep in mind that <i>Blade Runner</i> is a sociologically produced commercial work.
