…rating system parents, teachers, and students would be aware of any offensive matter that the literature addressed. School districts could then set a guideline for the educational curriculum by allowing each grade to only use texts that were appropriate. Since with each passing year students become more mature the written material considered suitable could be widened to include other ratings. This system would keep everyone informed, as well as solving the problem of book banning.
