…is discharged from the hospital, Nately’s girlfriend again attacks Yossarian and he runs away and isn’t seen again. In conclusion, Yossarian is disheartened by the war and is upset about the unfairness of mortality. He doesn’t understand how fate can choose who lives and who dies. He believes that the only sane people in war are not those who are fighting for their country, but those who are fighting for their lives.
