The Bubonic Plague was a deadly disease that was spread by fleas on rats. During the Middle Ages, millions of the people in various countries died from this sickness, also referred to as the Black Death, and were in chaos. …care and caution in what they ate and drank. The Bubonic plague helped greatly because it taught the people a good lesson. A more diverse economy, a more intensive use of capital, a more powerful technology, and higher standard of living for the people. These were some of the characteristics of the late medieval economy, after it recovered from the plague’s initial shock and learned to cope with the problems raised by diminished numbers.
