…forming the first African American Union. Caesar Chavez was born in Yuma, Arizona on March 31, 1927 and passed away in 1993. Chavez was a Mexican American labor leader who founded the National Farm Workers Association. Both worked hard to help their own race get a foot in the door to have a better opportunity in the world today. I will explain five of their goals that they achieved and who had the best goals for their group.
