In 1919 Hitler joined the DAP formed by Anton Drexler in the same year. Within two years he had control of the party. This was Hitler's first step to power. The SA had demanded Hitler should allow a 'second revolution', to do way with the old reactionary establishment.         The last step that Hitler took to ultimate power was in 1934. When the President died Hitler added the title of President to those he already possessed. He gave himself the title Führer. This was the final step to complete power.
