THE EXTREMLY CONDENSED HISTORY OF ROME UP TO THE TIME OF THE ILLUSTRIOUS CAESAR The story beings in a myth involving two twins who are born and are suckled by a wolf (don’t ask). The twins are Romulus and Remus. Romulus and Remus found what would become Rome. Romulus tell Remus never to step outside this boundary. Remus does. Romulus kills him (you know brothers!). Romulus will found Rome on 21st of April 753 BC. …

…also got along with many senators including one of his other Favorites, Mark Antony. So here we begin the play. Caesar has come home from war to his Rome where the Senate still rules (Somewhat). The senate remembers what Caesar was like as consul and is a bit weary. Cicero still is a major player. Cassius is whining about his lions. Brutus is dutifully being a senator. Pompey is dead. Let’s have a parade.
