Charcterization of Nora Dolls hosue
In Henrik Ibsen’s, play A Dolls House, the character of Nora Helmer goes through the dramatic transformation of a kind and loving house wife, to a desperate and bewildered woman, whom eventually leaves her husband and everything she has known because she is driven by money and the pursuit of happiness. "If your little squirrel begged you…"(1526) Nora then acts as though she is talking to her father. Torvald demands obedience in the bank and is afraid if he shows favoritism towards Krogstad there will be decision against him there. "And I hear he’s quite efficient…my place in the bank unbearable." (1527)
