…that make living worthwhile, the sweet fundamental things such as love and duty, work and rest, and living close to nature¡±(Book of Days, 34). If a parent provides these ¡°simple things¡± in their baby¡¯s life, then maybe he or she will live a much a happier life than one without the ¡°simple things¡±. Children need love and guidance in these important areas of development---physical, cognitive and social---in order to grow into healthy, happy adults.
