In China, 98 percent of children are enrolled in primary school, 89 percent in middle school, 42 in high school, and four percent in a college or university. The Labor Standards Law states that age 15, after required education is completed, is the minimum working age. County and city labor bureaus enforce this law. Authorities also prohibit and enforce a law against forced child labor.
