Chrisitans and Sin

A sinful act is one, which breaks a set of rules. Christianity, this is God’s law. To Christians a sin is an act that falls short of God’s intention or disobeys his word. In this essay I will discuss how various Christian groups judge sin and decide which acts are sinful. These groups will be, existentialists, liberation theology, Iraneaus, Augustine and I will include quotes from the Bible to see what it thinks …

…God I feel is a very valid argument. To conclude, the fact that Augustine and the Bible say that the human condition is PURELY or mostly sinful, whereas existentialism and Iraneaus see other attributes and the chance to achieve perfection. This leads me to think that these two give a more accurate description of the human condition. However the concept of sin IS more important to Augustine and the Bible when describing the human condition.
