If the Christian Science church would incorporate seeking medical diagnoses into its doctrine, then using that diagnosis as a basis for prayer healing, and if the medical community could learn to give diagnoses without forcing authority over treatment, these two communities could work together. Health care can and should be a combination of attention on, and assistance to, both the mind and the body.
