The author Gabriel Garcia Marquez doesn’t want the reader to focus on an individual appearing in this story, but wants the reader to see each event as a little part of the story, which tells more than just the murder of Santiago Nasar or the unhappy marriage, but the reactions of the people in town and their cultural aspects of either love or death.
