I grew up in a family where money was not plentiful. My parents were not rich people when they came to America. They came with nothing and earned everything they ever had. Naturally, the worldly pressure to become rich impacted my parents, and ultimately me. They were constantly making me stay home and study, even on weekends. While everyone was out watching movies, hanging out with friends, I was alone watching the time tick by …

…a pastor. Now I had a purpose for that “A” in science, I have a purpose for taking the SAT’s, and I will have a purpose for going to college. Through-out these four days, my future vocation was to become a pastor and my ministry had come to life before my eyes during the last night. The fire that I once had to enjoy the world was renewed to serving God and his people.
