Horrifying visuals, side effects and he piles on extreme situations after another. Several explosions of smoke, that begging for their lives and for a happy ending, peace was finally found. Thomas Ince’s masterpiece is an anti-war drama that combines spectacular battle scenes, religious symbolism and a tender story.
