Classicial Argument on Cloning
Of all the medical advancements mankind has created, nothing is more remarkable, and controversial, than human cloning. Late February 1997 the world was stunned that a British embryologist named Ian Wilmut and his research team had successfully cloned a lamb named Dolly from an adult sheep. Replacing the DNA of a sheep’s egg with the DNA of another sheep’s udder created Dolly. Plants and lower forms of animal life have been successfully cloned for
to create Eve. In summary, human cloning and cloning research should be made illegal by the U.S. Federal Government because it is unsafe, unethical and morally wrong. The ethical and moral implications of cloning are such that it would be wrong for the human race to support or advocate it. The sheer loss of life in both humans and non-humans is enough to prove that cloning would be a foolish endeavor, whatever the cause.
