The bright blue paint chipped off the tarnished wooden siding. The glassy images were blurred, and their sills seemed to be decaying due to the large collections of dust. There was a young girl playing by herself in the unkempt front lawn. This dwelling always caught my attention; it attracted me in a peculiar way. Whenever I walked down my block, my awareness was drawn to this particular house. It’s unappealing nature towered above …

…That house now has different owners, and no longer are there two little Justyna’s playing on that lawn. Through the closeness we shared, she has taught me the importance of friendship from an early age. I understood her feelings, We guided each other, and helped each other overcome many obstacles. Even though things have now changed, the love, the memories, and the bond we once had, will forever hold a place in my heart.
