…or side remarks that seem funny in a way only lead to more prejudices. Stereotypes and prejudices seem to go hand in hand in many instances. I would like to believe that I’ve never been involved in a stereotyped situation before, but this chapter made me realize how prevalent the generalizing of people in my life can be and has been. Thankfully I am trying to change that and still work on it everyday.
