…A&P has a more comedic tone in which a lot of situations are made light of. However, Barn Burning is on the other side of spectrum. The tone is somber and serious at all times. In conclusion, I think that even though the settings of these two stories were different they both got the point across that one person is capable of making a big difference by standing up for what they believe in.
