When Confucius first wrote his teachings they were little respected and less practiced by men of his day. As time went on, Confucianism finally became the official creed of the nation and the Classics became the sole study of scholars and statesmen. …Confucius feel learning was important, but he also wanted one to teach. Even though Confucianism took awhile to catch on, it eventually became the ruling of China. Confucianism laid out how one was suppose to live their life. Because of his teaching, Confucius was given the tile “Supreme Sage and Foremost Teacher.” His tomb became a kind of Mecca for all educated Chinese. All of this only goes to show how popular his teachings were.
