Preamble - starts off with we the people - just an intro to the constitution -states that the people of america made up the constitution Article I [The Legislative Branch] section 1 -congress consist of Senate and House of Representatives. section 2 -The House of Representatives members chosen every second year by the people of the several states -electors in each state got to have the correct qualifiactions -gotta be twenty five years old -seven year citizen …

…and collect taxes -provide for the coomon welfare and defence of the u.s. -list of duties congress does :borrow money on the credit of the u.s. :coin money, regulate the value and fix standard weights and measures :establish post offices and post roads :promote progress of science and useful arts :declare war :raise and support armies, provide and maintain navy's :make laws section 9 -privlage of writ of habeas corpus can never be suspended
