Copenhagen, written by Michael Frayn, premiered at the Seattle Repertory Theater, marking the beginning of its 40th season. Frayn accomplishes a perfect mix of science and theater in this intellectual play which won a Tony award in 2000. …they all died in. This hidden fact served well since the play is based on an after death meeting. Although it was a creative endeavor it exponentially decreased the believability of Owens’s character. Basically the combination of the cast, crew, Frayn’s interpretation and dramatization of the events that transpired in 1941 does exactly what it is supposed to do. Make you think and draw your own conclusions of ”Why did Heisenberg come to Copenhagen”?
