In today’s day and age, crime has risen from the past decades. If we look back in the 50’s and early 60’s, our country was just fine with what we had and what we knew. Crime was something that no one feared, talked or knew about. We were all clueless about the subject; everyone went on about his or her own business. Knowing nothing, nobody feared anything. …credit is due and that’s to Mayor Guliani and the support that was given from the proper authorities. Parks as well, a highly respected man, but came up short when trying to accomplish so much. He does deserve credit; he has done a lot for L.A. But with out-dated controllers and lack of unity with his officials, there was not much to come out of a sole supporter whose idea was so large.
