Crime and Punishment

In Dostoevskii Crime and Punishment, a murder is the underlying plot. Dostoevskii’s writing in the novel however can be linked to other authors work. Not that Dostoevskii stole work from other authors but that he was aware of the writings and used some of the elements of other authors. …bloody. I believe that Poe described the corpse as still warm and also went into detail on the fact that the corpse’s insides were exposed. Dostoevskii and Poe shared common themes in these works as well as a common type of character. Dostoevskii was aware of the writing of his time and that is why the stories are alike.
