…C. first showed that blacks were 73% of those first booked in detention but 83% of those referred back to jail from the court hearing. Blacks were 92% of the women who received sentences of 30 days or more. The proportions of the White female decreased in every step of the criminal process. Compared to the statistics Black women seem undefeated and oversentenced compared to Whites. So it seems too that they were overarrested and over indicted as well.
