Dances with Wolves

The movie, Dances With Wolves starts off about a soldier in the U.S. Union who runs away from a military hospital because his foot was about to be amputated. This story takes place around the time of the Oregon Trail. I’m not actually sure but I believe that at one point he tried to kill himself by riding his horse through a battlefield. …until an Indian boy named Smiles A lot killed him with an ax. Dances With Wolves decided to leave because he knew that more soldiers would come and look for him. If he stayed, they kill him and find the rest of the tribe and kill them. At the end, Lt. Jon Jay Dunbar (Dances With Wolves) and his wife Stands With A Fist left the village on their journey to find a new home.
