Dancing

When I look back through my old family photo albums, I find it difficult to recall much more than what is pictured in their pages. The dated clothing, the people, the locations… all of these are quite visible, and therefore appear memorable, but the fact is, without the visual prompt, I probably wouldn't recollect many of the pictured events at all. …a great impact on one's life. Memories that are looked to often for insight into the present tend to stay with you longer. They may fade over the years, but they will always remain stronger than the less important ones. The birthday party, for example, was a pleasant experience, but made no real impression on me. In always referring to my playground antics, however, I can be assured that this memory will never leave me.
