To Kill, or Not to Kill? That is the Question. The American Heritage College Dictionary defines murder as, “the unlawful killing of one human being by another, especially when premeditated.” In addition to the dictionary’s definition, it is in my opinion that to commit murder, one must have an evil hand and an evil mind. Throughout North America, more specifically in the United States, committing suicide or attempting to commit suicide is not a
right to live. In the United States, it is legal to abort a child without giving that child the right to live. I believe that same legality should be given to an adult, who is in their right state of mind, who wants to abort their own life. According to the law, everyone has the right to live; according to God, every human is given free will. Should not one have the will to die?
