In her poem entitled, “Because I Could Not Stop For Death,” Emily Dickinson personifies Death, while Christina Rossetti symbolizes death through Sleep in her poem, “Sleeping at Last.” Even though it is presented differently, both poems share the theme of death, something we can all relate to one way or another.
