…ludicrously claim that the death penalty costs, over time, 3-10 times more than life without parole cases. In conclusion, the death penalty is an effective and justifiable form of punishment. With society’s belief that revenge, protection, and just deserts are legitimate reasons for capitol punishment and with reviewing particular Supreme Court cases, it is my own personal opinion that the death penalty, or the threat of, is a meritorious and viable solution. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ **Bibliography**
