Along the way, he loses a lot of friends and countrymen. Destiny tore him away from love and possible happiness. Aeneas continues his journey and leads his people to his Promised Land; he founds the greatest empire, Rome. Aeneas’ destiny is finally realized and at long last his journey ends.
