Differences in American and Asian Culture

The family and cultural values of Asian countries and the United States are very different. However, those values in Asia differ dramatically among different countries. Therefore, it would be difficult to explain the values of Asia as whole, but rather, it would be easier to explain the values based in one country. Many differences explained included the marriage of individuals, the high and low context of the cultures, the verbal and nonverbal communication of the two countries, the greetings of America and Japan, and even the cleanliness of the individuals themselves. Though many differences occur, there are some similarities that each culture share, however, these similarities exist mainly because one culture adopted a part of another culture, also known as assimilation.
