…not a fully worked ideology, the required giving of a percentage of your wealth to the poor definitely has socialist flavor.         Lewis's prognosis is clearly biased. It seems that he tends to look down on Arabs as a people whom are not fitting to control their own destiny and are in need of guidance from Western ideologies. If all Western money and influence were removed overnight it isn't as if everything would be righted overnight.
