Drug Abuse

Drug use is generally defined as the use of a drug on a consistent basis which can have physical or mental effects or can impair a person’s social abilities. The substances which I will discuss consist of hallucinogens, stimulants, and depressants. These drugs affect moods, emotions, feelings and thinking processes and they can be mind- altering. …many rehabilitation programs set up. For example Alcohol Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, and various inpatient and outpatient programs in hospitals. The problem of distinguishing drug abuse from religious and moderate use is difficult because most of the time it is up to the individual to assess their relationship with the drug/drugs. In the future education seems like the only logical and effective way to prevent the pain that can come with experience of drug use.
