…out, assuming the U.S. survived the Cuban Missile Crisis at all. There is no doubt that many of our ancestors and some of us personally would not have emigrated from Europe. I would probably still be living with my family in a small village in Portugal. In retrospect, it is probably for the best that “time travel” is purely fictional and not yet possible. We do not need someone going back to change history.
