Everyman Analysis

Thesis Statement: The use of allegorical characters in the Christian Morality play, “Everyman,” answers to the question of whom to seek salvation with and the answer to that is God. …and join Everyman. “I thank God, now I can walk and go; And am delivered of my sickness and woe. Therefore with Everyman I will go, and not spare,”(p. 52, middle-top.) I believe Good-Deeds is Everyman’s savior. Good-Deeds represents god; which in this Morality play portrays as the strongest type of friendship. Going back to the Christian belief that Christ died for all of man’s (Everyman) sins and restores us to everlasting life.
